Walgreens

I am so excited. I went to Walgreens today and they had everything I went for. I am shocked and excited. My Walgreens is ok but they are always out of something I am looking for and then it throws off my whole plan. But not today.

Transaction 1: 2 Clorox Wipes & 1 Clorox Bleach Spray. I had a coupon to buy 2 Clorox cleaning products get 1 free and 2 $1 RR. OOP $4.87 got $2 RR from Clorox products.

Transaction 2: Excedrin, Peter Pan, and Paper Towels. I had $1 off Excedrin and $. 50 off Peter Pan (IP), and used the $2 RR from transaction 1. OOP $1.70 with $1 RR remaining.

Our Walgreens does not allow you to have more coupons and RR than you have items so I had to paper towels as a filler. The cashier told me they look at RR as a coupon.

Still I got a really great deal.

CVS

I had a pretty good quick CVS trip today. I realized I had a $5 off $15 coupon expiring today and $6 ECBs from last week so I knew what ever I picked up would be free or almost anyway. So this is how it went.

Cereal Bars 2/$5 - $1 coupon for each

Soup BOGO at $1.69 each plus $1 off 2 printable

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder $8.49 get $5 ECB I had no coupon :(.

Total before sales and coupons.......

$25.15 ( including tax) less sales, coupons, and ECBs = total OOP $2.58.

Really good deal I think for a last minute quick trip.

While I was there I discovered my CVS is being remodeled. The store was a mess. Of course the sweet ladies at my CVS help me when ever I need it. But they have to deal with the noise and mess for 3 weeks. I hope they are still sweet when it is all over.

Ringor Cleats

Since I have only been blogging a few weeks many of you may not know we are a sports minded family. Well we are. All 3 of my girls play fastpitch softball, whether it be the local league, travel ball, or high school they keep very busy with sports.

We started wearing RINGOR cleats last year. They have purple which we needed to match the high school colors and RINGOR was recommended by several people on the team. They are very long lasting and have held up well thru the first year and will be fine for the up coming season.

Lady Cats Basketball

The Lady Cats won again Saturday night in their match-up against Franklin Co. Lady Cats won 54-38 in the district semi-finals. They play Shelbyville tonight in the district championship. Game is set for 8:00 in Tullahoma.

The Wildcats lost their semi-final game Saturday night to Shelbyville and will go on to play Franklin Co. Tuesday night.
